Bri Calver
Assistant Coach

Bri Calver was named as Drew Gaeng's assistant to the Hendrix College women's basketball program in 2016.

In 2016-17, Hendrix won the Southern Athletic Association Tournament, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. The Warriors went 18-11 and tied for second in the regular season with a 9-5 mark.

Calver coached the SAA Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team selection Sara Dyslin.

Calver came to Hendrix after spending three seasons at Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio as an assistant. During the 2015-16 season, she helped the Beavers to a 25-3 record, a Heartland Conference title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

As a collegiate player, Calver was a four-year letterwinner for the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She was a career 83 percent free throw shooter and shot 37 percent from three-point range.

Calver graduated from UMass Lowell in 2013 with a degree in liberal arts.

A native of Shelby, Ohio, she graduated from Shelby High School in 2009. Calver was a three-time all-conference selection and earned All-Ohio Honorable Mention.


Morgan Fimpel
Volunteer Assistant Coach

Morgan Fimpel, a former four-year basketball player for Central Baptist College (CBC) Mustangs across town, enters her first year as a volunteer assistant for the Warriors Women's Basketball program.

Coach Fimpel, a native of Maumelle, Ark., will be primarily working with post players for the Warriors team. In her four years with the CBC Mustangs, Coach Fimpel recorded 581 points, 399 rebounds, 89 blocks, 50 steals and 31 assists including a career-best 17 points and six blocks vs Baptist Bible College. Coach Fimpel also earned All-Conference Academic honors in 2017.

As a senior at Maumelle High School, Coach Fimpel averaged 21.0 points, 18.0 rebounds and 7.0 blocks. She also graduated with academic honors.

Coach Fimpel is scheduled to receive her bachelor's degree in General Studies with a minor in Recreational Leadership December 2018. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, watching baseball, hanging out with her family and spending time with her puppy Colt.
